Fellow viewers of Impact Wrestling, this is MisterTNA speaking...today I'm going to discuss something that seems to have lost a lot of peoples interest within this community and maybe further abroad in the Impact fanbase, the Impact Grand Championship. Watching over the comments like Sting used to the Impact Zone, I've noticed that most, if not everybody that has commented on the subject is resigned to the the Grand Championship being a failure, and hoping for its imminent end. Some want the rules to be removed while others would like it to be merged and replaced by what's currently the GFW Next-Gen Championship. Personally after 6 months and two different creative teams, I can accept the flaws in such a unique concept, however there is potential there and with some tweaks the new management team can make the grand rules interesting and unique.

Impact was LIVE! Well, almost. But it was good enough for me! Impact has consistently been "on fleek" (Sorry). Luckily that trend continued for this must-see episode. With that said - here's my top five:

Disclaimer: To answer your first immediate question: Yes I was watching Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation which is where I got the idea for the column's title this time around. I'm only going to be talking about what I want and frankly feel I need to see from TNA during the tapings this week. I don't really have a plan on how many items I need to see at the tapings so let's see where this ends up and how many I have.

Well, we've finally made it through the latest set of tapings. It's been an interesting ride to say the least. Luckily I think I speak for the majority of fans when I say I'm very anxious to see what's next. Several storylines are reaching their peak, which is exactly what should be happening. So before we get to next Thursday, let's take a look at the latest episode.

Men & Women of TNAMecca, this is MisterTNA speaking…in the last few months, changes have been a plenty in the world of TN….sorry, Impact Wrestling. Ownership, management, talent, production, working agreements, TV deals, the list goes on and on. One thing is clear though when you look at everything that is happening, a new vision of what Impact Wrestling is is starting to take shape. To say what it’s exactly going to be is difficult, but there is plenty out there to put together and draw conclusions, and when I’m taking everything into account, I’m seeing a pretty unique picture of where Impact could be heading. I might be way off, but if things are going the way I’m thinking, it would certainly be exciting times on the horizon.

Let's be honest, the episodes of Impact since the new regime took over have been up and down to say the least. I'm optimistic that the shows will be more consistent and engaging as time goes on, but right now it looks like a work in progress. The in-ring product is simply not matching the same level of success in comparison to that of the company's managerial (not on-screen) evolution with the multiple new promotion affiliates and positive developments (like the India tapings, new TV deals, etc.) Are they really making Impact great? If you isolate just the show itself, I wouldn't call it necessarily "great" right now but it could definitely achieve that level of adulation by Slammiversary or Bound For Glory if they play their cards right. There have been so many new or returning talents appearing on Impact lately that it becomes difficult to address them all, but I thought that making a list of the best and worst of the lot would be feasible. With all the new wrestling company allies and pay-per-appearance type of deals with wrestlers, there will probably be a Part 2 of this same kind of column in the near future. It's also too early as of today to judge the success of Magnus, Matt Morgan or other signings as we don't know the length of their deals and how or if they will be booked going forward. For now, let's take a look at some of the performers that have been in the limelight recently and events that have transpired so far.

Before we dive in, I wanted to touch on last week's episode (which I unfortunately missed due to school work and WrestleMania preparations, sorry). When I started it, I had this dreaded feeling, like I was watching the Impact of old. Luckily that feeling went away when Moose and Cody put on one of the best performances of the night. LAX winning the Tag Titles was a good call and will hopefully lead to good things for the tag division. Now that we're all caught up... Let's break it down!

Disclaimer: This time around I will be discussing the inevitability of having the TNA wrestlers from the 2013-2016 era having to put over the New Guys Coming into the Promotion in March 2017 and why its ok (For Now), The confusing We Like Braxton Sutter but we don't really like Brandon Sutter Push, What a ROH Buyout By WWE would do for Impact Wrestling and Karen Jarrett can add to Impact Wrestling.
