#REWIND365: 7-20 April 2014

Welcome to #REWIND365 Where the Reaction Never Ends, a selective look at the fortnight's offerings from #IMPACT365.  It has been a crazy two weeks for TNA with the World Title changing hands in the most unexpected of ways.  Dixie carter returned to cause waves and do what she does best by trolling those that have criticised Eric Young's win, and EC3 didn't lose his streak.  #REWIND365 has been monitoring all the uploads over this Easter holiday and brings you a selection of some of the best on offer.

Disclaimer:  Apologies in advance to any "Best of..." reviews I may have plagiarised by writing this article.

Bronze: Santa Claws It

It has been a good long while since they recorded any talking heads segments for #IMPACT365, so in the spirit of the Easter holidays the TNA roster were approached with an age old question:

Who would win a no DQ match in the Easter Bunny vs Santa Claus?

The verdict was somewhat unanimous, but some of the answers are very creative.  Clearly it is a question the roster have spent a lot of time thinking about.  #IMPACT365 has been dominated by post-match interviews as of late, so more tomfoolery like this wouldn't go amiss!

Silver:  ECFreebird

No-one was happier about the return of Dixie Carter than her own personal minion Rockstar Spud, and with news that he has received a new longterm contract we are likely to be treated to more great moments from the awesome comic duo of Spud and EC3.

Hilarious to watch Spud maintaining his character during a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert, and EC3 proceed to use his companion as a human air guitar.

FYI this video looks somewhat dodgy if you watch it from about 1:00 onwards with the sound turned off...

Gold: A True Champion's Beard

In this age of the internet and social media, it is incredibly difficult to be surprised by anything that happens in the wrestling world.  Even if an event is live, someone, somewhere knows what is going to happen and leaks it around the internet community like a virus that you are likely to be exposed to no matter how much you try to avoid it.

That being said, every once in a while a promotion can pull off a result that knocks you for six, and it is reassuring to know that TNA is still capable of swinging with the best of them.  Going into this 10 man gauntlet I wouldn't have bet in a million years that Eric Young would come out victorious, let alone go on to end the Reign of Magnus and become World Champion.

It has been a strange 12 months for the World Title scene.  With Bully Ray taking the gold back in March last year, the fans haven't really had a champion that they can cheer for aside from a short and underwhelming stint by Chris Sabin and AJ Styles' spell as champion, which was largely defended off our screens.  Hard to predict how long Eric Young will hold the belt, but his run will certainly bring a refreshing change to the World Title scene.

Young has always come across as a decent fellow, a great talker and very humble in this video moments after his win.  Some more gold to go with that belt!
