Who are the TOP 5 Contenders for Magnus?

Ladies and gentlemen, Magnus is your TNA World Heavyweight Champion.  As pointed out previously many times, he is TNA's youngest World Champ and the first British World Champ in over 100 hundred years.  So with Genesis and the U.K. Tour both quickly approaching I thought it might be fun to speculate as to who will challenge and feud with Magnus for the TNA World Title in the near future.  I will give you my TOP 5 contenders for Magnus in 2014 and I'd like to see your TOP 5 lists as well.  So let's get to it.

5. Christopher DanielsI think it's safe to say that Christopher Daniels has been one of the most consistent performers on the TNA roster in the last 2 years.  The formation of Bad Influence has reinvigorated both the careers of Kaz and Daniels, however, I think it would be a nice gesture for TNA to give Daniels a much-deserved short run with the World Title.  He came THIS close to such a feat right before the U.K. Tour last year in a loss to Jeff Hardy, and many believe it was a mistake to not give him the championship at that time.  Will 2014 be the year that Daniels receives a World Title reward?

4. Bully Ray - Despite all of the Aces and Eights hate, there is a general consensus that Bully Ray was still a good heel champion and that he drew a lot of heat from crowds in various cities across the United States.  His new character is darker and more sinister than "The Prez" but what is his end-game?  Does he desire to become World Champion again?  Only time will tell but I can see Bully Ray being in the World Title picture again before the end of 2014.

3. Samoa Joe - The Samoan Submission Machine is due for a legit run.  To keep ignoring the man's talents would be a travesty in my opinion.  We all know about the decline of Joe over the last few years, but I still think there is time to reestablish him as a main event player.  With AJ's impending departure, it should open a slot for a former World Champ to step into.  Magnus and Joe have history with each other and would undoubtedly have some great matches again.  Joe needs this ASAP.

2. Austin AriesIt's mind-boggling sometimes to consider how high Austin Aries was in 2012 in comparison to now.  The pecking order in TNA doesn't always make sense, but I think most people agree that Aries removal from the spotlight is the most egregious.  Yes, he did have the incident with Christy Hemme, but come on.  Aries is ultra-talented and deserves to be in World Title matches again in 2014.  The Greatest Man That Ever Lived has been patient, but that patience from himself and his fans will start to run out eventually.

1. Bobby Roode - Yes, Roode is in a current feud with Kurt Angle (which has been entertaining and given us great wrestling btw).  However, you know that the "It Factor" is going to be gunning for the World Title as soon as humanly possible.  The timing needs to be right and it most likely won't come right away, but sometime in 2014 Bobby Roode needs to be World Champion again.  His previous World Title run was very well done and he is poised to recapture that momentum again sometime this year.

So those are my TOP 5 contenders for Magnus in 2014.  I'd like to see if you agree, disagree and who your TOP 5 contenders are.
