TNA Thursday Randomania - Nov 28, 2013

It's a special edition of Randomania, this week, as I list the things about TNA that I'm thankful for in honor of the Thanksgiving holiday.  We would also love to hear from you...what are you thankful for?  Please make sure to make your own lists in the comments section below.

Before I begin, on behalf of everyone at TNAMecca, I'd like to wish all of you and your families and happy and wonderful Thanksgiving.  I can't say it enough how thankful we are for your support.  In just four short months, you've made TNAMecca a staple within the TNA community of fans and a vital member of the club that is the internet wrestling community.  And for that, we all truly grateful.  For those who aren't celebrating the holiday, today is about appreciating the little things about your life that you take for granted.  So make sure you take a moment today to truly reflect on all the things that bring you joy and pleasure.

In any case, on to my list of things about TNA that I'm thankful for...

- I'm thankful for tonight's episode of Impact Wrestling.  Although I don't expect much storyline progression tonight, I do expect an episode that's a nod to the Thanksgiving shows of old, in which the talent spent the night enjoying a feast while shenanigans almost always ensued, backstage and in the ring.

- I'm thankful for Team Angle vs Team Roode in a Survivor Series-style eight-man elimination match.

- I'm thankful for the Funeral of the Aces and 8s.  I've been saying for weeks how TNA keeps teasing the return of the old school era and as soon as they announced tonight's funeral, I immediately thought of the Funeral of Team 3D, which is still one of my favorite segments of all-time.  For those of you who have never watched it, I've posted it for you below:

- I'm thankful for the Dixie Carter vs AJ Styles feud that's led to the best storyline in pro wrestling right now.  As a result, TNA fans have been treated to...AJ Styles vs El Mesias in AAA, AJ Styles vs Seiya Sanada in Wrestle-1, the World Title Tournament to crown Dixie Carter's champion, the Wheel of Dixie, and we're not even midway through.

- I'm thankful for the new characters, all of which are fan favorites.  Ethan Carter III.  Lei'D Tapa.  Norv Fernum.  Dewey Barnes.  Samuel Shaw.

- I'm thankful for the Gail Kim Open Challenge in which we get to see new talent come in on a regular basis to accept her challenge.  So far, we've seen Hannah Blossom and Candice LeRae.  Who's next?

- I'm thankful for the best main event scene in pro wrestling: AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Bobby Roode, Jeff Hardy, Magnus, Austin Aries, Bully Ray, Mr Anderson, and Samoa Joe.

- I'm thankful for the best supporting cast in pro wrestling: Christopher Daniels, Kazarian, Joseph Park, Eric Young, ODB, Chris Sabin, Velvet Sky, James Storm, Gunner, Manik, Zema Ion, Kenny King, Jay Bradley, Brooke, and Bro Mans.

- And finally, I'm thankful for the departure of Hulk Hogan and soon-to-be Eric Bischoff.  I'm thankful for the return of old school TNA.  And I'm thankful that Jeff Jarrett is back to restart what TNA had started in late 2009.  It's no coincidence that AJ Styles was the TNA World Heavyweight Champion then too.
